Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

Well, hello there. I’ve compiled a list of all of the questions that could potentially be asked. I hope you find what you’re looking for …

I’m experiencing a technical problem viewing one of your articles or navigating your website, what should I do? You can email me at imani DOT briscoe AT sju DOT edu. Please try to be as specific as possible (which article, were you using a phone, what operating system, send a screenshot if you can, etc.) and I’ll see what can do to resolve the issue.

Which apps do you use? I like VSCO Cam for filters and color adjustments.

Are you on social media? Yessssss! Instagram/Twitter/Snapchat: @mymomentsss

How long have you been blogging? This is my first official blog site attempt and I’ve been revamping this for quite some time. (OMG!) I became serious about the blog during my academic winter break of 2015.

I’m new to blogging. Can you give me advice? I’m new to this too! However, some of the best piece of advice that I can give to a fellow young blogger is to write the blog you want to read. Being good at anything takes time, and blogging is no different. Keep going, be consistent, and make small goals for yourself.

Do you read followers’ blogs? Yes! I click around almost every day. I follow links in comments and comment back as much as I can.

How do you stay inspired and productive? I look for inspiration from fellow bloggers, videos and much more! These are some just to name a few:

Baz Luhrmann – Everybody’s Free To Wear Sunscreen (Video Compilation)

Marianne Williamson/Nelson Mandela , A Return to Love: Reflections on the Principles of “A Course in Miracles” (Affirmation)

Beyoncé – I Was Here (UN World Humanitarian Performance)

(Of course I had to include Beyonce)

Viola Davis – First Black Woman to Win the Emmy for Best Actress in a Drama Series (Speech)

Maya Angelou – Still I Rise (Poem)

What is your ethnicity? I identify as African American.

The question about what inspires you is very helpful. The Baz video was dope. Keep it up!
